History
Our landscape design and construction services are the foundation upon which NewLand was built. We began in 1985 with some hand tools, a small pick-up truck and $600 in our pocket. Since then, we have been honored to receive numerous State and local awards for our design and construction talents. NewLand won the People's Choice Award for best landscape design at the Bangor Garden Show from 1991 through 1994, and 1999. One of our more visible projects includes the tea lawn, landscape plantings, walks and bike rack at the Jordan Pond House in Acadia National Park. We also created the landscape at St. John's Church on York Street in Bangor, Alternative Energy offices on the Bangor waterfront, Mansfield baseball diamond in Bangor, University of Maine Hutchinson Center in Belfast, as well as numerous private residences from Camden to Calais. The actual geographic area we service is larger than the State of Massachusetts.
